- Partner with R&D to validate future-viability of experimental technologies
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on paradigm-shifting developments
- Establish competitive intelligence networks tracking global innovation ecosystems
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Published thought leadership in futurism or disruptive technology domains
- Proficiency with predictive analytics tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Deloitte Tech Trends)
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Track record advising Fortune 500 companies on 5+ year technology strategies
- Deep understanding of Web3, AGI, and climate tech convergence points
