Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to C-suite executives across Fortune 500 clients
- Design scenario-planning models for emerging markets and industry transformations
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on future-proofing business strategies
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced methodologies like Delphi analysis and systems thinking
- Present at global conferences on future trends and strategic adaptation
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related quantitative/social sciences
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurism consulting
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems modeling, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published author or recognized thought leader in future trends publications
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, and climate technology convergence points
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) preferred
