Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and socioeconomic trends impacting 2026+
- Develop quantitative future-state models using predictive analytics and scenario planning methodologies
- Design strategic roadmaps aligning emerging opportunities with corporate objectives and risk mitigation protocols
- Lead cross-functional workshops to disseminate foresight insights and drive innovation adoption
- Author executive briefings and trend reports translating complex futures into decision-ready intelligence
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to capture cutting-edge insights
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and critical analysis frameworks
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Futuristics, Strategic Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and predictive modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR, AFS) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or strategic impact for Fortune 500 clients
- Experience with futures simulation tools (e.g., Foresight Platform, Gartner CEP)
