Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and disruptive forces through 2026
- Develop and maintain a strategic foresight framework integrating AI, biotech, and climate resilience trends
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare organization for multiple future states
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish cross-functional foresight communities and knowledge-sharing protocols
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech) and their societal impacts
- Proven experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational change
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation domains
