Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Design and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational vision
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and executive briefs on future trends and competitive positioning
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into development lifecycles
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technological forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Business Strategy, or related field
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with ability to translate complex insights into executive narratives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CSSP) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation in high-growth environments
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams across global markets
