Responsibilities
- Research and synthesize global technological, economic, and social trends to identify 2026 market opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning models to assess business impacts of emerging innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Design and implement horizon-scanning frameworks for continuous trend monitoring
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across departments
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Strategic Planning, Data Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into market-leading products
- Expertise in scenario modeling, predictive analytics, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented within the last 5 years
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management (e.g., CFIP, CIPM) strongly preferred
