Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy, identifying disruptive trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional task forces to prototype and validate next-gen solutions with rapid prototyping cycles
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and board members, securing $50M+ in innovation funding
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies to shape regulatory frameworks
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and engineers using agile methodologies and design thinking
- Publish industry-defining whitepapers and represent FutureVision at global tech summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations (patents preferred)
- Expertise in exponential technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or blockchain
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/Master's in Technology Futures, Systems Engineering, or equivalent)
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and government bodies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology transition initiatives
