Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum AI, neural interfaces, decentralized systems) to identify commercial opportunities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen product development
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Create predictive models for technology adoption and market impact
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite stakeholders and investors
- Mentor innovation teams in cutting-edge prototyping methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development, or neurotech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or top-tier tech journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Portfolio of implemented future-tech projects
