Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, identifying disruptive innovations and market opportunities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical strategy with business objectives and customer needs
- Produce predictive reports on industry shifts and regulatory impacts on future technology landscapes
- Partner with product teams to incubate next-generation R&D initiatives and proof-of-concept projects
- Represent the company at global tech forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior innovators and establish knowledge-sharing frameworks across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Proven track record of successfully forecasting and implementing disruptive technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, biotech)
- Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in trend modeling and scenario planning tools
- Strong executive communication abilities with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- CISSP, CTO, or CTO-level certification preferred
