Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term technology roadmaps targeting 2026+ breakthrough innovations
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions using agile methodologies
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through data-driven visualizations and scenario modeling
- Establish ethical frameworks for future technologies ensuring responsible deployment
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for collaborative R&D
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design and horizon scanning techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven track record
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals or conferences
- Proficiency in futures forecasting tools (Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Experience scaling innovative technologies from concept to market
