This pivotal role combines strategic foresight with hands-on implementation to transform emerging technologies into scalable solutions.
As a key member of our innovation council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global partners to develop a 5-year technology roadmap focused on quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, and immersive realities. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives while mentoring a high-performing team of futurists and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, advanced AI, and sustainable tech
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire emerging tech startups
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and mentor a team of 8-12 futurists and technology architects
- Drive patent development for proprietary 2026-era innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in executive leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- PhD or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Strong network in Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
