Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for emerging technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage innovation budgets and vendor partnerships for future tech initiatives
- Author thought leadership pieces on technology's societal impact post-2025
- Mentor junior futurists and build a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven experience with future-casting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Strong track record of turning strategic vision into commercial products
- Certification in Innovation Management or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience leading global distributed teams across 3+ time zones
