Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum, AI, neurotech, synthetic biology) to forecast 2026+ industry disruptions
- Design and prototype next-generation digital frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Labs' to validate futuristic concepts through rapid prototyping
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on 2026 technology landscapes
- Mentor junior futurists and build an innovation pipeline for emerging technologies
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data visualization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with demonstrable impact on future-focused initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least three exponential technology domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex, interconnected future scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
