Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, metaverse) and forecast their commercial viability by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for implementing futuristic technologies across business units
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify disruptive opportunities
- Design and conduct technology impact assessments for future market scenarios
- Create thought leadership content and present strategic visions to executive stakeholders
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, researchers, and industry pioneers
- Oversee the development of proprietary innovation methodologies and tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and implementing future-focused strategies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience presenting complex futuristic concepts to non-technical executives
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
- Portfolio of implemented future-oriented projects with measurable impact
