Responsibilities
- Forecast and map emerging technology trends through 2030, developing actionable strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, quantum AI, neurointerfaces)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups in exponential tech domains
- Design ethical frameworks for deploying advanced autonomous systems and predictive analytics
- Present futuristic technology blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Curate an internal 'Future Labs' program fostering radical experimentation
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary 2026-era technology applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurism with 8+ years in strategic tech roles
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least three exponential tech domains (quantum, biotech, AGI, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist or technology journals
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for speculative innovation projects
- Certification in Futures Studies (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology
