Responsibilities
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in developing predictive models for 2026+ technological adoption
- Architect roadmaps for integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech into enterprise ecosystems
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and government technology councils
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies with global societal implications
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and acquire transformative startups
- Pioneer open-source initiatives to accelerate democratization of frontier technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies with 8+ years applied research
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE Spectrum)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation strategy
- Fluency in at least three programming languages (Python, R, Julia preferred)
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, and international research institutions
