Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Lead high-stakes client workshops on emerging tech impacts (quantum AI, neuro interfaces, climate tech)
- Author quarterly HorizonWatch Reports distributed to C-suite executives across sectors
- Build and manage a global network of futurist researchers and industry pioneers
- Translate complex exponential trends into actionable business roadmaps
- Represent HorizonShift at premier global tech conferences (Web Summit, VivaTech)
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and trend synthesis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Proven track record of predicting major market shifts (provide 3+ case studies)
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with visualization mastery (Tableau, D3.js)
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant field
- Published author in peer-reviewed foresight journals (e.g., Futures Research Quarterly)
- Fluency in at least 2 languages beyond English
- Deep network within DARPA, World Economic Forum, or similar innovation ecosystems
