Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with evolving global regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models using advanced statistical tools
- Develop corporate policies for generative AI deployment, including content moderation protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Lead stakeholder engagements with regulators, industry bodies, and ethics committees
- Proactively identify emerging ethical challenges in quantum computing and neuro-interfaces
- Train cross-functional teams on responsible AI practices and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics with regulated industries
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging AI regulations
- Experience with bias detection tools (IBM Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Strong background in privacy-preserving techniques (federated learning, differential privacy)
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, Stanford HAI)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Published work on AI ethics or demonstrated thought leadership in the field
