About the Role
This senior position sits at the intersection of technology, policy, and philosophy. You'll collaborate with engineers, policymakers, and ethicists to establish guardrails for our generative AI initiatives. Your work will directly influence industry standards and shape how society interacts with autonomous systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with emerging global regulations
- Conduct risk assessments for autonomous systems and generative AI models
- Lead cross-functional working groups on algorithmic bias mitigation
- Establish audit protocols for AI decision-making transparency
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in product development lifecycles
- Represent Nexus Horizon in industry ethics coalitions and policy discussions
- Train stakeholders on responsible AI implementation practices
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics leadership
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and OECD AI principles
- Proven experience with bias detection tools and fairness metrics
- Deep understanding of socio-technical systems and human-centered design
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published work on AI ethics or technology policy (preferred)
- Certification in AI ethics or governance (e.g., CEGAI) required
