Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics policies and governance frameworks aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular audits of AI systems to identify and mitigate ethical risks and biases
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate ethical considerations into the AI development lifecycle
- Stay abreast of global AI regulatory developments and provide guidance on compliance strategies
- Lead stakeholder engagement, including internal teams and external partners, to promote ethical AI practices
- Conduct research on emerging ethical challenges in AI and propose innovative solutions
- Document and report on AI ethics initiatives and their impact on business operations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, Philosophy, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI, data governance, or related field with focus on ethics and compliance
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their societal implications
- Expertise in developing and implementing ethical frameworks and governance structures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to articulate complex ethical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and audits for AI systems
- Knowledge of global AI regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights) and industry standards
