Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and predictive analytics
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models using advanced statistical methods
- Develop ethical guidelines for generative AI applications and synthetic media creation
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Lead stakeholder workshops on responsible AI practices with Fortune 500 partners
- Author white papers and industry standards for AI governance bodies
- Mentor junior ethicists and cross-functional teams on ethical AI implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years applied AI ethics experience
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques for neural networks and large language models
- Published research in AI ethics or algorithmic accountability (top-tier conferences/journals)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, state-level laws)
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI solutions in production environments
- Experience testifying before legislative bodies or standard-setting organizations
- Proficiency in Python for bias detection tools and ethical impact simulations
