Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology strategy aligning AI, quantum, and biotech innovations with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype future-proof solutions
- Develop implementation roadmaps for AI-powered automation and predictive systems
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present future tech vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor innovation teams in agile development of experimental technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within AI/quantum/biotech
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario planning for 2026+ horizons
- Deep knowledge of Gartner Hype Cycle and tech adoption frameworks
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding for experimental projects
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies
