Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year strategic vision for AI innovation aligned with emerging 2026 technology trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI systems (quantum neural networks, sentient interfaces)
- Partner with government bodies on AI ethics frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Drive commercialization of research through IP development and strategic partnerships
- Represent company at global tech summits (Davos, Web Summit, AI World Congress)
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdocs in specialized AI disciplines
- Secure $10M+ in research grants from DARPA, NSF, and private foundations
Qualifications
- PhD in Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, or Cognitive Science with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on transformative AI applications
- Proven track record of scaling AI initiatives from concept to market (>$50M ARR)
- Expertise in federated learning, neuromorphic computing, and AGI safety protocols
- Deep understanding of 2026 technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for sensitive national projects
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
