Responsibilities
- Design and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and sustainable technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-facing solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, carbon capture systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies through patent analysis, academic partnerships, and global trend forecasting
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI deployments
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and venture capital partners
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and ROI on R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, Systems Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn tech companies
- Proven track record in launching AI/ML products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent journals on future technologies
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
- Strategic consulting experience with C-suite executives
