Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for AI integration across healthcare, climate modeling, and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping next-gen AI architectures (quantum neural networks, AGI frameworks)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential by 2026
- Author thought leadership publications on AI ethics and societal impact for global forums
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government bodies for technology governance frameworks
- Design human-AI collaboration models for enterprise and consumer applications
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and investor pitches
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or Futurism (minimum 10 years experience)
- Published research in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Proven track record of scaling AI systems to production environments with >100M users
- Deep expertise in quantum computing principles and neuromorphic engineering
- Experience with technology foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ AI products with measurable societal impact
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
