Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum-enhanced ML algorithms for next-gen autonomous systems
- Lead research in ethical AI alignment and bias mitigation frameworks
- Collaborate with neuroscientists to brain-inspired computing architectures
- Author patents and publish in top-tier AI/quantum journals
- Mentor junior researchers and build cross-functional innovation pipelines
- Translate theoretical models into production-ready prototypes
- Secure $1M+ annual research grants through DARPA/NASA partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Neuroscience (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of research experience in quantum machine learning or generative AI
- Published work in NeurIPS, ICML, or Nature Quantum Information
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Strong background in complex systems theory and emergent behavior modeling
- Proven track record of securing government research funding
- Experience with neuromorphic computing hardware (Loihi, SpiNNaker)
