Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move products.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate inventory counts and maintain organized stockrooms to ensure order fulfillment meets company standards.
- Package Preparation: Properly label, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are secure and ready for delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and verify order accuracy before they leave the facility.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure daily targets and deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to understand work orders and safety guidelines.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
