Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and basic diagnostic tests
- Prepare and administer medications under supervision
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health records
- Ensure sterile exam environments and equipment functionality
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate laboratory services and referrals
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or EMR)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Michigan state license in good standing
- Pass background check and drug screening
