Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Safely and efficiently load, unload, and stage merchandise using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate inventory counts and maintain organized stockrooms to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment with a focus on speed and damage prevention.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets our high-quality standards before leaving the facility.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to optimize daily workflow and productivity.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a major plus.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and reliability in previous employment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
