Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems to move inventory.
- Load and Unload Freight: Handle incoming and outgoing shipments with accuracy and speed, ensuring proper tagging and documentation.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels within the warehouse system.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to strict quality standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace organized, clean, and safe by following all OSHA safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the management team immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling merchandise and data entry.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Equipment Operation: Forklift certification is a major plus.
