Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts relevant to 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain a multi-year strategic roadmap integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align organizational priorities with emerging market opportunities
- Establish KPIs for measuring future-readiness and innovation maturity across business units
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to the executive board and key stakeholders
- Build and manage an internal futurist think tank comprising domain experts and thought leaders
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Innovatech as a 2026 innovation authority
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing long-term (5+ year) strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI, blockchain, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities with data-driven validation methods
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards of directors
- Advanced degree in Strategic Management, Futures Studies, Technology, or MBA from top-tier institution
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan, etc.)
