Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently handle packages and pallets using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Packing and Labeling: Accurately pack items into boxes, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure sealing.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and performing cycle counts.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) after certification.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not strictly required for this entry-level role.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail.
