In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring they receive top-notch technical assistance and guidance. You will work closely with senior technicians to resolve hardware and software issues, manage IT tickets, and maintain a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools for internal and external clients.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues including printers, operating systems, and network connectivity.
- Document all technical interactions and resolutions accurately in our ticketing system.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software for employees.
- Monitor system alerts and escalate critical issues to senior staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy with experience navigating Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office environment (if remote).
