Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and patient injections
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Manage inventory and supply ordering for clinical areas
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficient with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling needs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
