Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move products within the warehouse.
- Perform daily inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and secure cargo properly.
- Assist in the training of new team members on safety protocols and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory management is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
