Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the daily flow of inbound and outbound freight.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse staff, and clients to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and logistical issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency with supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
