Responsibilities
- Coordinate Shipping & Receiving: Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Fleet Management: Schedule and dispatch trucks efficiently, tracking delivery status in real-time.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and resolving logistics issues.
- Documentation: Prepare and process shipping documentation, bills of lading, and customs forms accurately.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot delivery delays and implement solutions to maintain high service standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or equivalent GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computer systems and warehouse management software (WMS).
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
