Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials.
- Pick and Pack Orders: Fulfill customer orders with high accuracy and speed, ensuring all items are correctly packaged and labeled.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock checks, receive incoming shipments, and organize inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Safely load and unload delivery trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic routine maintenance checks on forklifts and scanning equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator certification.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and basic computer literacy (RF gun experience is a plus).
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
