Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage team of 12+ warehouse staff with scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Implement lean methodologies to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company quality standards
- Coordinate with transportation and inventory control teams for seamless operations
- Analyze KPIs and implement process improvements for efficiency gains
- Maintain accurate inventory records and cycle count procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in logistics/distribution
- Proven track record of optimizing warehouse operations and reducing costs
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Strong proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable
