Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI/quantum/IoT solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neurotech, synthetic biology, metaverse) for commercial viability
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic capabilities into core offerings
- Present strategic recommendations to board and executive leadership
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and tech scouting initiatives
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic and industry research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching market-defining technology products
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong financial modeling skills for technology ROI forecasting
- Experience managing cross-disciplinary teams (engineering, design, research)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or industry publications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
