Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in evaluating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, bio-integrated systems) for strategic implementation
- Conduct scenario planning for technological disruption and competitive positioning
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI adoption and responsible innovation
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with clear ROI projections
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to scout next-gen technologies
- Monitor global tech policy developments and regulatory impacts on future adoption
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech assessment
- Proven experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps with successful implementation
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Professional) or equivalent strategic planning credentials
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (white papers, industry journals)
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
