Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps identifying disruptive trends in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future vision and implementation priorities
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Design innovation frameworks balancing technical feasibility with ethical and sustainability considerations
- Present strategic findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Manage vendor relationships for emerging tech partnerships and pilot programs
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership with exposure to emerging tech
- Proven experience translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Certification in foresight methodology (e.g., CFM, CFP) or equivalent analytical training
- Strong data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across technical and business domains
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field required
