Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen technologies with real-world applications
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies for tech ecosystem development
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities post-2025
- Design governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation practices
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with proven experience in emerging tech adoption
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or Web3 infrastructure
- Track record of developing successful technology roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Experience managing $5M+ innovation budgets and cross-functional teams of 20+
- Deep network within Silicon Valley's tech innovation ecosystem
