Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen tech solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching successful tech initiatives post-2020
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $3M
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in strategic innovation management (e.g., INSEAD)
