Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI, quantum computing, and biotech solutions
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Manage innovation budgets and vendor partnerships for experimental tech initiatives
- Drive adoption of sustainable tech practices in product development cycles
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record launching tech products with 3+ years market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in futures thinking (e.g., from foresight organizations)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Prior work with Fortune 500 clients on enterprise innovation
- Strong data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Power BI
- PhD or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies preferred
