Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with company vision
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Manage portfolio of experimental projects with $5M+ annual innovation budget
- Represent company at global tech summits and shape industry thought leadership
- Mentor R&D teams in future-proofing technical architectures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record launching products/services based on future tech trends
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or biotech integration
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-tech implementations
- Experience scaling innovation from prototype to enterprise deployment
