Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in AI ethics, quantum applications, and neurotech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling executive narratives and investment proposals
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Champion human-centered design principles in all technological implementations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations from R&D to market
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced robotics
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or innovation strategy
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 or high-growth environments
