Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum, biotech, and AI convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and ethics teams
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment in regulated industries
- Establish KPIs measuring tech ROI and societal impact for 2026 market readiness
- Drive strategic partnerships with NASA, MIT, and EU Horizon Europe initiatives
- Present future tech scenarios to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record launching products using quantum/AI/biotech convergence
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Certified in Technology Foresight (TFIA) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Published research in IEEE Nature or peer-reviewed tech journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding for futuristic initiatives
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems (FDA, FCC, GDPR)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or Julia preferred)
