Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuro interfaces) and their commercial viability post-2026
- Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps integrating future tech trends with business objectives
- Present visionary technology briefings to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term tech adoption
- Build strategic alliances with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech paradigms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech roles
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 disruptive initiatives
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (blockchain, biotech, advanced AI)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning capabilities
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent strategic foresight training
- Experience securing $5M+ budgets for futuristic R&D projects
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred)
