Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, climate tech, and neural interfaces
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen user experiences for emerging tech
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape evaluations for emerging fields
- Present technology forecasts to executive leadership and investor boards
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Proven track record of launching technologies adopted by Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, climate tech, or neurotech
- Executive presence with experience interfacing with C-suite and government bodies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi method)
- Experience managing >$10M R&D budgets with measurable ROI
